Gentle simplicity light my way,
Stroke those warm fibbers in practiced silence,
Notions of Gods and other worlds enrapture my brain,
Cast your spell on me,
Enchant my dreams with a moment’s peace,
Free me of those needless encumbrances,
Find for me a reason that I may still live
Outside world,
You’re not welcome in this place,
My sanity refound,
Lost is in a gesture of warming my cold lungs,
²There is still pleasantness despite what they say,
I cherish it when the flame does go out,
For I am reminded of reality,
And am forced to light that flame again and again,
Who are you to believe in eternity?
All things will be extinguished,
I too suck on these life giving poisons,
And laugh aloud,
Let them have their religion,
I have my flame
